The problem wasn’t the person. It was the system.
I work the Dubai secondary market as a property consultant, and for a long time I had more opportunities than I could consistently manage. Owner calls, follow-ups, documents and client conversations were spread across spreadsheets, WhatsApp and different tools.
Hiring an assistant helped, but it didn’t solve the underlying problem. There were still only so many hours in a day, languages one person could speak, conversations they could manage and details they could remember.
My partner, Charbel, brought nine years of software development experience to the problem. He saw that the solution wasn’t simply more manpower — it was better infrastructure. Together, we began designing a system around the way the business actually operated.
The first system was built for my own business. It handled work in the background, kept information connected and responded when I couldn’t. For the first time, the operation wasn’t dependent on one person’s memory or availability.
That was the beginning of Novigent.
We built the first system to solve a problem inside my own business. I still use what we build in live operations today. That principle became Novigent: understand the operation first, then build the technology around it.
